Job description
We’re currently hiring full-time CDL-A truck drivers based out of our home terminal in Greensboro, NC. This is a Monday–Friday position with weekends at home. Drivers will spend 2–3 weeks each month running a dedicated route in Florida, with the remaining weeks serving as a fill-in driver to support various lanes, which may include the Northeast, Nebraska, Texas, and more. A valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and a minimum of 2 years of experience are required. We operate refrigerated (reefer) trailers, so prior reefer experience is a plus but not required. Versatility and flexibility are essential in this role. As we continue to grow, this position is expected to transition into a fully dedicated Florida route. Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Transport and deliver products and materials.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures for operating a CMV and transporting goods.
• Follows traffic laws, regulations, and requirements, including FMCSA, OSHA, DOT, and any other applicable regulations.
• Inspects vehicles for defects before and after trips to ensure that equipment is in good working order. Submits report about vehicle condition.
• Maintain logs in ELD according to FMCSA regulations.
• Obtains receipts and signatures for delivered goods.
• Ensures timely and accurate paperwork flow.
• Read and Maintain Bills of Lading for DOT compliance and record retention.
• Track Inventory
• Maintains bills of lading for DOT compliance and record retention
• Operates refer trailer in compliance with customer load temperature requirements.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Two years verifiable CDL Class A driving experience
• Maintain a valid Class A CDL
• Possess or can obtain a DOT Medical certification.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to maintain effective communication verbally and through company telematics systems.

Driving Skills:

• Driving experience should include various terrain types, large metropolitan areas, and winter driving in inclement weather conditions.
• Thorough understanding of FMCSA pre and post trip inspection requirements
• Refrigerated trailer experience a preferred.

MVR History

• No more than 2 Moving Violations (no more than 1 in the previous 12 months)
• No preventable accidents in 3 Years
