About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL B Driver for a local delivery position based in Ashland, Virginia. This role involves delivering medical equipment and supplies, including renal care products, to clinics, hospitals, patients, and private residences.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $25 per hour
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Early starts as early as 5:00 AM may be required based on route needs
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Medical equipment and supplies, including IV bags, medications, and dialysis machines
• Equipment: Automatic transmission vehicle
• Handling: Heavy-touch, last-mile delivery with white-glove service
• Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies to clinics, hospitals, patients, and residences
• Ensure products arrive safely and on time
• Handle delicate medical equipment and supplies with care and attention to safety
• Provide professional, respectful service during each delivery

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid CDL
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
