About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local delivery operations in Bristol, Pennsylvania. This long-term flexible opportunity involves transporting bagged concrete using an automatic flatbed truck.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $25 per hour
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time: Between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment type: Long-term flexible assignment
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight: Bagged concrete
- Equipment: Automatic flatbed truck
- Handling: Flatbed strapping and light-touch freight handling
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an automatic flatbed truck on local routes.
- Transport bagged concrete in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
- Secure freight and perform required handling tasks, including flatbed strapping.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
- Meet the physical demands of the position, including strapping freight.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Flatbed driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
