About the Position

We are seeking a Local CDL A Driver for local deliveries to grocery stores throughout Ohio. This home-daily position offers no-touch freight, automatic transmission equipment, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $30 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Length: 8 to 10 hours per day
Four different shift start times are available
Home daily
Employment type: Temp to Perm

Job Details

Route Type: Local delivery
Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
Equipment: Automatic day cabs, reefer trailers, and dry vans
Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food and grocery products to local stores throughout Ohio
Safely operate automatic-transmission day cabs, reefer trailers, and dry vans
Complete drop-and-hook and live-unload deliveries
Perform slip-seat operations as required
Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Valid CDL A
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
