About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Local CDL A Drivers for delivery routes serving grocery stores throughout Ohio. This is a home-daily, no-touch position with automatic transmission equipment and multiple shift options available.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $30 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Options: Four start times available
Shift Length: 8–10 hours per day
Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
Home Time: Home daily

Job Details

Route Type: Local delivery
Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
Equipment: Automatic day cabs, refrigerated trailers, and dry vans
Transmission: Automatic
Freight Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food and grocery products to local stores throughout Ohio.
Safely operate automatic day cab equipment and assigned trailers.
Complete drop-and-hook and live-unload deliveries.
Perform slip-seat operations as required.
Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
