About the Position

Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Driver for deliveries to grocery stores throughout Ohio. This position offers $30 per hour, no-touch freight, and a Friday through Sunday schedule with home-daily routes.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $30 per hour
Overtime available after 40 hours
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Four shift options available
Shifts are approximately 8–10 hours per day
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery
Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
Equipment: Automatic day cabs with reefer and dry van trailers
Transmission: Automatic
Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads
Home daily

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food products to local grocery stores throughout Ohio
Transport bakery goods, milk, general grocery products, and dry goods
Perform drop-and-hook and live-unload operations
Complete slip-seat operations as required
Operate automatic day cab equipment safely and professionally

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
Valid CDL A
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
