About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for a local, heavy-touch delivery position in Kidron, Ohio. This role involves delivering fresh poultry to grocery stores using automatic trucks equipped with reefers.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $278 per day
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday
Start time: Between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Daily schedule: 9 to 10 hours per day
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Temp to Perm

Job Details

Route type: Local
Freight: Fresh poultry
Equipment: Automatic trucks with reefers
Handling: Manual pallet jack unloading and occasional two-wheel dolly use
Delivery radius: 150 to 200 miles
Average stops: 12 to 17 per day, typically fewer and rarely more

Key Responsibilities

Deliver fresh poultry to grocery stores safely and on schedule
Operate automatic trucks equipped with refrigerated trailers
Unload freight using a manual pallet jack and, when needed, a two-wheel dolly
Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at each delivery location

Minimum Requirements

1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
