About the Position

TransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed Drivers for a regional direct-hire opportunity in Dalton, Ohio. Drivers will transport steel products, building materials, pipe, and lumber within a 400-mile radius, typically operating 200–300 miles from the terminal.

Pay & Schedule Details

• $37.50 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Home every weekend
• Typically 2–3 nights out per week
• 40 hours per week
• $1,000 sign-on bonus
• Anticipated start date: June 15, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Regional
• Freight: Steel products, building materials, pipe, and lumber
• Equipment: Automatic-transmission trucks
• Handling: Strapping and tarping as needed
• Tarping bonus: $75 when tarping is performed more than three times per week
• Truck amenities: Refrigerators and microwave hookups
• No oversized loads
• Ability to take the truck home
• Pet and rider policies available
• Home weekly
• No slip seating

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles on local and regional routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Secure loads using straps and tarps as required
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, including flatbed experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
