About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to support local operations in Chambersburg, PA. This long-term, flexible opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $30 per hour
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
Start times: Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. or between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start date: April 13, 2026
Employment type: Long-term flexible assignment

Loads: 1–2 loads per day
Freight: Freight of all kinds
Equipment: Automatic transmission
Handling: No-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations
Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
Perform required loading and handling tasks.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
No endorsements required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
